5/30/2019 Passed both house and senate – waiting on the governor. S.113 was amended in the Senate to include a five-cent fee (a decrease from 10-cents in the previous iteration) on paper bags and to have language defining reusable paper bags. The bill also bans plastic bags, polystyrene food packaging, and straws.
