Retail establishment does not include public eating establishments or nonprofit charitable reusers.

1/16/2014 Passed the first reading of the plastic bag ban for all the unicorporated areas. Feb 19th is the scheduled date for the second reading. 7/1/2013 They voted in June to continue moving forward. Another vote is expected in August 8/24/2012 Board approved for the Sonoma Waste Management to continue pursuit of a county wide legislation. They are currently drafting an ordinance. 4/18/2012 meet to discuss a bag ban. This ban will include the unincorporated areas and the cities of Cloverdale, Cotati, Healdsburg, Petaluma, Renhart Park, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Sonoma and Windsor) This is through the Waste Management.
