10/29/2012 – San Manteo County is holding their first reading of their ordinance today. When approved it will be effective 4/23/2013. It could be voted on as early as Nov 6, 2012. 9/13/2012 – The county certified the Environmental impact report. It can be used for both the unincorporated and corporate cities and also some other cities in the neighboring Santa Clara County. First reading of the ordinance is scheduled for 10/23/2012 and the Second reading is scheduled for the following week. 8/15/2012 They currently had the comment period on the EIR. The County expects to have its ordinance out for review to the Board inOctober 2012. 5/21/2012- See link to letter of notice and highlights of proposed ordinances. Others cities are join in (these are listed as pending: Belmont, East Pala Alto, Foster, Pacific Grove, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, Woodside)
